Nanoscience and Nanotechnology: Advancing Healthcare, Energy and Environmental Solutions
Preamble:- The Symbiosis Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (SCNN) focuses on cutting-edge research at the interface of nanotechnology, biotechnology, and healthcare. The centre works on synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, nanocomposites, and nanobiopolymers for biomedical, environmental, and energy-related applications. Major research areas include nanomaterials for diagnostics, drug delivery, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) detection, targeted therapeutics, biosensors, and sustainable nanotechnology solutions. SCNN also emphasizes translational research by developing innovative nanotechnology-based tools for healthcare and industry, fostering collaborations with academia and industry to address real-world challenges through advanced nanoscience.
